Great Plains Nature Center Showcases Regional Wildlife

Life is truly an adventure at Great Plains Nature Center.

Vultures‚ turtles‚ bison and honeybees are just some of the creatures on display‚ in addition to several species of wildflowers and trees.

The spacious complex encourages school groups and adults to learn about wildlife and the plant varieties of the Great Plains region. The center is a partnership between the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service‚ the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks‚ and the Wichita Department of Park and Recreation.
